Classes are run by Helen Poore and her team with qualifications from STA (Swimming Teachers Association) in Aquatic Teaching for Baby and Pre-School with child and baby rescue and resuscitation. We also hold a STA Award in Teaching Swimming and STA Certificate in Teaching Swimming.
Helen also holds birthlight 1 in infant aquatics, Level 3 in Education and Training and is a STA Aquatic Tutor.
We all hold RLSS (Royal Life Saving Society) National rescue award for swimming teachers and coaches with a specialist module in infant life support and are members of both the STA and RLSS.
The team are all DBS certified.
We also hold Antenatal swimming which is accredited by the Royal Collage of midwives trust and the RLSS Rookie Lifeguards.
We are also part of STA Swim Star Swim Schools offering a unique stamp of approval from STA that our Little Flippers Swim Academy maintains the highest standards in safety, teaching and customer service.
